Tunnelling into play at Gunyama Park!
Installation is well underway on a new play structure in Zetland, NSW — part of the Gunyama Park Stage 2 master plan by
Place Design Group for the
City of Sydney.
Contracted under Regal Innovations, FORGE has commenced installation of a 37-metre junior play structure this week, with the 57-metre senior play counterpart to follow. The structures will be complete with log bridges, rope tunnels, slides and swings. The tunnel-like forms are designed to encourage exploration and movement and is set to open in 2026.
Surrounded by high-density living, the expanded parkland will unlock the outdoors for local residents. The broader precinct will include an amenities building, water play area, open lawn and skatepark — all just moments from the award-winning Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

A major milestone at Gunyama Park Stage 2, with the majority of the main play structures now installed — bringing the design vision one step closer to reality.

Sydney’s newest play destination is almost here!
The signature play structures for Gunyama Park Stage 2 are now in place, bringing the park one step closer to opening.
