From concept to completion, Gunyama Park is a story of collaboration at every level.
On Wednesday 22 April 2026 at 12pm (AEST), we will be hosting a one-hour CPD webinar. It is a must for practitioners involved in the delivery of public realm play projects across inner-city areas.
At a time when Australian cities are being transformed by rapid urban consolidation, brownfield development and rising population density, an expert panel will explore both the challenges and opportunities facing landscape architects to ensure outdoor play amenity grows at the same pace as urban populations.
To bring a sharp real-world focus to the conversation, the webinar will draw directly on the recent delivery of Gunyama Park for the City of Sydney, a hugely innovative new community precinct less than 3km from Sydney’s Central train station—with several of the project’s key stakeholders on the panel.
Detailing how policy makers, planners and designers worked together to solve a wide range of critical inner-city challenges within the project budget, the session will look specifically at issues including:
There will also be a live Q&A opportunity with the panel towards the end of the session.
